BizTalk 2013 BAM Portal : Attempted to read or write protected memory

I went to configure the BAM Portal feature along with BAM Alerts today and received an error “Attempted to read or write protected memory”. After a bit of analysis I found that you need to create the db role “NSSubscriberAdmin” manually on the BAMAlertsApplication database. After doing this the BAM Portal will configure correctly without error.
