T-SQL Tip : Cloning a record

Simple little T-SQL tip.  I wrote a stored proc today that clones a record and assignes a parentId to the cloned record to form a parent child relation between records in the same table.

ESB Toolkit : Requested value ‘”Messaging”‘ was not found

Quick tip, if you’re getting this error then be sure the filter expression on your send port is not wrapped in quotes.  If they are then remove them, and update the off ramp and off ramp extender.

BizTalk Server 2013

I’ve been working on the TAP for BizTalk Server 2010 R2.  BTS10R2 has now been renamed and released in beta, BizTalk Server 2013.  Good to see some further work has gone into the ESB Toolkit setup and installation.

BizTalk Tip : Flat File Error ‘Unexpected data found while looking for: \r\n’

If you using a positional flat file and getting an error similar to this when attempting to validate an instance try turning on early termination by setting the allow_early_termination attribute to true in your flat file schema.
