Just a quick mention. I performed a normal hassle free install of ESBT 2.1 this morning, uneventful until I came to start the Microsoft.Practices.ESB BizTalk application and received the below error in the event log when attempting to enlist the ALL.Exceptions send port.
Unable to communicate with MessageBox BizTalkMsgBoxDb on SQL Instance .. Error Code: 0x8004d00e. Possible reasons include:
1) The MessageBox is unavailable.
2) The network link from this machine to the MessageBox is down.
3) The DTC Configuration on either this local machine or the machine hosting this MessageBox is incorrect.
Simple solution. Check the filter properties on the ALL.Exceptions send port. If they’re empty then add ErrorReport.FailureCode Exists OR Microsoft.Practices.ESB.ExceptionHandling.Schemas.Property.FaultCode Exists.
