Handler “PageHandlerFactory-Integrated” has a bad module “ManagedPipelineHandler” in its module list

One for the PKB.  Got the error mentioned in the description today after installing an asp.net web app on a fresh Windows Server 2008 R2 box under an ASP.NET 4.0 enabled app pool.  In the end it turns out IIS simply wasn’t registered correctly.  Run the below command line.

%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -i
