BizTalk Tip – Remove leading or trailing characters within a map

Today a colleague asked how to go about removing leading or trailing zeros from a string within a BizTalk map.  Too easy, posted here for future reference.  Just drop one of the following into a scripting functoid configured for Inline C#.

public string RemoveLeadingZeros(string value)
{
    return value.TrimStart(Convert.ToChar("0"));
}

public string RemoveTrailingZeros(string value)
{
    return value.TrimEnd(Convert.ToChar("0"));
}
