BizTalk Tip : Turn Off Global Tracking

I’ve been working with a client to resolve some serious performance issues on there current BizTalk environment.  One thing we identified early was the client had tracking enabled but were just purging it without archive.  Tracking data is not being used and never will be used.  BizTalk Server collects tracking data by default.  To turn off global tracking simply open the adm_group table in the BizTalkMgmtDb database and change the GlobalTrackingOption field from 1 to 0.  Now no tracking data will be recorded in the message box, TDDS won’t need to ship data to the tracking database, and there is no need to purge tracking data.
