BizTalk Developer Edition

On my last project I was tasked with building a new development and testing environment for the integration team.  Nothing too radical.  Just a BizTalk group made up of two BizTalk Servers pointing at an Active/Passive SQL Cluster.  Management were firm in that I should use developer edition for both environments.  No problem.  I researched and found no limitations.  To quote Microsoft.com, "Complete EAI, B2B, and Business Process Management functionality".  Whilst presenting the new environment I came across some rather odd and pointy questions relating to the use of developer edition.  The person asking the question was sure developer edition limited them to only 5 BizTalk applications.  I was certain this was only applicable to standard edition.  For future reference, http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/en/us/pricing-licensing.aspx
